DEVELOPMENT
Before this textile could be made, a 25"x25" loom was constructed out of plywood and nails reaching nearly 2" apart. The weaving process began by layering the base and aesthetic yarn til the desired number of layers were reached. Smaller pieces of yarn were cut and tied making X's at the meeting points. Pom Poms were finally created by cutting through only the aesthetic yarn.
